We sat around the elegantly set table, the soft glow of the candles casting a warm ambiance over the room. Mr. Sebastian, resplendent in his tailored suit, smiled warmly as he passed the bread basket to Theresa.

"Try the baguette, my dear," he said. "It's freshly baked."

Theresa took a slice, inhaling the aroma appreciatively. "Mmm, it smells divine."

Clark, seated across from me, leaned back in his chair, his eyes creasing at the corners as he smiled. "So, Alexander, how's business been?"

Alexander simply shrugged. "It's been good. We've been landing some big deals lately. And don't ask me lame questions when you know exactly how business has been," he added, sarcasm dripping off his words.

I took a sip of my wine, listening as the conversation flowed easily around me. Mr. Marco, seated to my right, turned to me.

"And how about you, Ivory? What have you been up to?"

I smiled, feeling a sense of belonging. "Just the usual, Mr. Marco. Nothing too exciting."
