Rodion was in an emergency room!

I stood abruptly. "Is he okay?" I used my free hand to unzip my dress. "What happened?"

“We can't find a match.” Lucia said with a lazy sigh. "I'm gonna hang up. The doctor is here."

"No wait-" The beep sound followed right after. I checked the phone and noticed Lucia had been calling me ever since last night. Rodion must have been in the hospital the entire time.

For a moment, I forgot I had a case of murder, but whatever it was, I needed to go to the hospital.

In three minutes, I had changed and left the hotel room. I had no idea how I was going to get to the hospital, but when I arrived at the reception, a receptionist handed me bike keys.

"I was told to give you this."

I took them, I never wanted to know who did, but I knew I was to find out later. So, I charged out, dying to get to the hospital. In less than twenty minutes, I was in the hospital.
