WARD I look down at the woman that is lying lifeless on the ground. Her head is twisted at an odd angle and her eyes are still opened wide in shock. "What do you mean I killed the wrong witch?" I try to growl at Sylvia but without my lycan it sounds a lot less intimidating. "I am telling you that I cannot leave this cell without the aid of someone that is actually in the coven," Sylvia spits at me. "Can't you bring her back to life or something?" I say looking at the dead witch on the floor. "No I can't bring her back to life," Sylvia screams. "I am barely eighteen. I just came into my powers. I don't know what I am doing." "You... you are barely eighteen?" I laugh sarcastically. "I am going to kill my mother when I leave this place." "Your mother loves you more than you know," Sylvia snaps at me and I just glare in her direction. "You don't know anything about my mother," I say angrily. "If you did you wouldn't have put yourself in this position." Bendin
KEENA Sister Jasper stands in front of the marble door and mutters some sort of incantation under her breath. The moons on the door begin to glow brightly and I cannot help but watch in awe as the marble melts away leaving behind a simple wooden door. The door looks like it is hundreds of years old. There are cracks and splinters in the wood. It creaks loudly as Sister Jasper swings the door open. Sister Jasper leads me into a large circular room with a pentagram etched into the center of the floor. There is a high table that sits across from the door and there are seven cloaked figures seated behind it. All of their cloaked hoods are covering their faces so I cannot see who they are. But the one thing that I do notice is that all of their cloaks are different colors. This just isn't one coven. This is many of them. Many covens that were meant to be disbanded years ago. As Sister Jasper leads me into the center of the room and the bracelet that is around my wrist beg
WARD We stand outside of the marble door and the scent of roses encompasses my senses and I know that my mate is in there. I run towards the door and try to push it open with my shoulder but a cold shock ripples through my body and throws me backwards. Shaking my head, I try to regain my wits before I stand back on my feet and try to barrel through the door again. Once again the cold shock knocks me backwards. "What are you doing?" Sylvia asks me with a weird look on her face. "I can smell her," I say angrily. "My mate is in there." Sylvia and her mother exchange an odd look with one another. Sylvia's mother raises her hand to the door and mumbles something under her breath. The phases of the moon glow brightly and the marble of the door melts away. Behind the marble is a tiny wooden door that looks like it is being held together by magic only. The wood is splintered and cracked. Before I have a chance to barrel through the wooden door, Sylvia's mother stands in fro
KEENA I walk over to where Ward is holding the High Priestess by her neck. I am surprised that she hasn't summoned her magic to break free. "You are going to help us get out of here?" I tell the High Priestess. She is trying to pry Ward's claws from around her neck but his lycan is too strong and she is gasping for air. Perhaps that is why is unable to conjure her magic. "Never," she whispers. "I would rather die." "That can be arranged," I tell her. Ward tightens his grip around her neck and I can see blood dripping down her skin onto her black cloak. Her face begins to turn several shades of blue and purple as her body is denied oxygen. "Let her go," I tell Ward. Ward looks at me and whines like a puppy that is about to lose his toy. I can tell that he doesn't want to let her go because he doesn't trust her not to kill us when she is set free. But I know that I am stronger than her. They wouldn't have tried so hard to bind my powers if I wasn't. "It is

KEENAThe world swarms around us. I have never teleported so far before and I am secretly terrified that we are going to end up in some random location. Ward is still naked and all I have on are the robes of the Sisters of the Lunar Star Coven. It could be really embarrassing if I get this wrong. I focus all of my energy on finding the dungeons beneath the royal mansion.Suddenly the dungeons flash before my eyes and I let myself relax. The three of us halt to a stop and I find that I have teleported us into one of the closed cells. I groan at my misfortune as I try to figure a way out of the cell. I can feel my powers below the surface of my skin but I am unable to use them. Sensing that I am struggling, Ward places his hand on my shoulder. I turn around to look at him and he offers me a small smile. "I mind linked the King and Queen," he tells me. "They should be here shortly." Shortly is an understatement. Suddenly the door that leads to the dungeons swings open and
KEENA The scent of peppermint soothes me as I wake up, but I stretch my arms to the side and Ward isn't there. I am hugging his pillow and I know that he put it between my arms so I wouldn't know that he is missing. I let out a little huff of frustration as I get to my feet. I was hoping to spend some much needed alone time with him this morning. Looking down at myself I see that I am still in the light blue robes from the coven. I was so tired that I must have fallen asleep in them. Stripping the robes from my body and tossing them in the trash where they belong, I quickly put on my favorite pair of sweats and go looking for my mate. As I leave my bedroom, the smell of peppermint leads me straight to my father's office. I raise my hand to knock on the door but the sound of loud voices coming from within stops me. With my senses now heightened because of the appearance of my lycan, I don't even need to lean my head against the door to hear the conversation that is coming fr
KEENAI look up at Ward through my long dark eyelashes and I can tell that he is stunned. "Keena." My name is nothing more than a whisper on his lips. I fiddle with the buckle on his belt. Excitement is filling my chest and it is making it so I can barely breathe. My hands are shaking by the time I finally undo Ward's belt and I can tell that Ward is holding his breath. "I missed you," I say as I reach into his boxers and gently stroke his erection. "Keena," Ward whispers my name again. "I don't think that now is the time for this." In one swoop I pull Ward's pants and boxers down to his ankles. "I need you. I need you more now that I have ever needed you." Stroking his cock in my hand, I stick out my tongue and flick the tip. Ward groans loudly and falls backwards against the door behind him. With a small smirk on my lips I continue to run my tongue along his cock. Starting at the base, I run my tongue along his length several times while I look up at him. Ward

Willow POV Faris's body floats to the middle of Lycan City Lake, just like his father before him and his grandfather before that. Horns play loudly, signifying the beginning of the lighting ceremony. I watch from a distance as the leader of the Royal Guard raises his hand in the air, and three archers light the tips of their arrows with flames. The leader lowers his hand, and the arrows fly into the air before hitting their mark. As Faris's body is engulfed in flames, I find myself shedding a tear. Not for the man Faris was at the end of his life, but for the man he was before I became his assassin. The uncle who would sneak me out of my house with his mate and feed me ice cream before dinner. The uncle who never missed a school event and treated me like his own flesh and blood even though I was not. Liz pulls at my black dress and looks up at me with her bright green eyes. "Are you okay?" She whispers, pulling my attention away from the end of my uncle's ceremony. "I'm
Willow POV As I watch Endora’s ashes fly away, the runes on my back begin to burn. It feels like someone has poured salt on an open wound. I drop to my knees and claw at my skin through my shirt. My mother and Cordelia rush to my side, ripping my shirt off my body. I look at the runes on my arms, and they are glowing bright red. “What is happening?” I cry out in pain. “Since Endora has been killed, your link to the Coven of the Lunar Star is broken,” Cordelia tries to smile even though I am in pain. “The magical bindings they put on your skin are breaking down.” “They are disappearing?” I ask as I attempt to get to my feet, but my knees buckle under my weight. Exhaustion has finally caught up with me. Wincing through the pain, I look at Faris lying beside me. His face looks peaceful like he is sleeping. I look around me, and all of the fighting has stopped. Faris’s Royal guards must have felt this tether to the pack break when he died. Now they are all on bended knee
Willow POV My two-hour training session turned into five hours. By the time Cordelia is done with me, my arms feel like jello. My feet drag as I walk from the training area back to the farmhouse. I am exhausted, and I cannot wait to crawl into bed for a few hours before Osiris wakes me. As I approach the farmhouse, my heart sinks. A group of rogue warriors is already gathered outside of the farmhouse. Osiris is standing on the porch giving them a speech. When he sees me, he raises his hand and gestures for me to join him. Mumbling obscenities under my breath as I approach Osiris, I realize I am not getting my nap. Plastering a fake smile on my face, I stand beside Osiris. Osiris wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me in close to him. My fake smile turns into a real one as I feel the tingles of the mate bond spread throughout my skin. Osiris's shoulders relax as I nuzzle into his side. He wraps his arm tightly around my waist and continues his speech. "We were att
Faris POV I leave Natacha sleeping in my bed. Her new mark shimmers under the morning light shining into the room. I had expected her mark to match the one I had given Kayla, but it is different. A beautiful rose blooming under a full moon now resides on her neck. Natacha had been more than willing to accept my mark. The lovemaking between us had been patient and gentle. I was worried about hurting the pup that grows within her. But when it came time for Natacha to mark me in return, I couldn't let it happen. It felt too much like I was replacing Kayla. Natacha pretended she understood, but I could feel her pain through the bond between us. She was disappointed. Pulling on a pair of sweats and a t-shirt, I head into the office that adjoins my bedroom. Sitting down at my desk, I begin to make plans on when and how to attack the rogue camp. But my heart isn't in it. Now that I know I have an heir, nothing else seems to matter. It all feels petty. "Why shouldn't I let
Willow POV After much negotiation with the doctor, he finally agrees to let me leave the hospital. The wound on my neck is almost healed. I have not been brave enough to look at it. I don't want to see the damage that Osiris has done to me. After taking a shower in the tiny hospital bathroom, I open the bag of clothes that Osiris brought me from the farmhouse. I roll my eyes when I see a pair of bright red lace panties and a matching bra. Sticking my head out of the bathroom, I hiss at Osiris. "You couldn't have brought something more comfortable?" There is a mischievous grin on his face. "They looked comfortable to me," he chuckles. I shut the door in frustration, and I begin to pull on the leather pants and black t-shirt. I pull my hair up into a ponytail and walk back out into the hospital room. But there is no one in there. I peek out of my hospital room and see nurses and doctors frantically running toward the entrance of the hospital. I can hear the sounds of
Faris POV It is the wee hours of the morning when I finally return to the royal mansion, but the mansion is already buzzing with activity. I quietly slip past all of the Omegas who have already started their morning chores. I go upstairs and past the room that Natacha is staying in. Her scent of lavender and roses is wafting through the door. She barely smells like a rogue anymore, and I wonder if it is because she is carrying my child. Slowly, I turn the doorknob, and I am surprised to find it is unlocked. The door opens with a slight creek, causing me to cringe. I consider walking away, but curiosity draws me further into her room. Natacha is sleeping peacefully. I have to admit she is beautiful. Not as beautiful as my Kayla, but still beautiful nonetheless. Tiny puffs of breath leave her full lips as she sleeps. She is sleeping in an oversized t-shirt. A smile crosses my lips when I realize the t-shirt is one I had left behind at her apartment. The t-shirt has ridd
Osiris POV Ella grabs my hand and teleports back to the hospital. The wind swirls in the sky as the witch sisters appear out of nowhere beside us. I am unsteady on my feet as the world comes back into focus. "I don't think I will ever get used to that," I grumble as I choke back the vomit rising in my throat. "You will get used to it over time," Ella says as she gently rubs my back. I shrug off Ella's hand and turn to the four witches. "We don't have time to lose," I say. "We need to get to Willow." Once I have regained my balance, I head into the hospital with the witches following behind me. As we walk through the halls, people scatter away from me and the women walking with me. Whispers follow us through the corridors. Many of my pack members have not seen so many witches together in one place, and their eyes follow us as we make our way to Willow's hospital room. As we approach Willow's room, the doctor is waiting for us. He looks the witches up and down before o
Faris POV Natacha follows me into the royal mansion, keeping her head down. As we walk through the mansion, I can hear the whispers coming from the Omega servants. They are wondering why I have willingly brought a rogue into Lycan City. My personal Omega, Jessica, is leaving my bedroom when I reach the top floor of the royal mansion. Her face blushes deeply when she looks at me but quickly disappears when she lays eyes on Natacha. Jessica's nose wrinkles as she catches Natacha's rogue scent, and a scowl tugs at her lips. "How can I help you, Your Highness?" Jessica says with a fake smile spread across her face. "This is my close friend, Natacha. I need you to set her up in the room next to mine," I instruct Jessica. Jessica doesn't try to hide her displeasure at the thought of a rogue staying within the royal mansion, but still, she gestures for Natacha to follow her down the hall. Natacha hesitates to follow the young Omega. "Are you coming with me?" She asks nervou
