Chapter 84

KEENA

Sister Jasper stands in front of the marble door and mutters some sort of incantation under her breath. The moons on the door begin to glow brightly and I cannot help but watch in awe as the marble melts away leaving behind a simple wooden door. The door looks like it is hundreds of years old. There are cracks and splinters in the wood. It creaks loudly as Sister Jasper swings the door open.

Sister Jasper leads me into a large circular room with a pentagram etched into the center of the floor. There is a high table that sits across from the door and there are seven cloaked figures seated behind it. All of their cloaked hoods are covering their faces so I cannot see who they are. But the one thing that I do notice is that all of their cloaks are different colors.

This just isn't one coven. This is many of them. Many covens that were meant to be disbanded years ago.
