I walk over to where Ward is holding the High Priestess by her neck. I am surprised that she hasn't summoned her magic to break free.

"You are going to help us get out of here?" I tell the High Priestess.

She is trying to pry Ward's claws from around her neck but his lycan is too strong and she is gasping for air. Perhaps that is why is unable to conjure her magic.

"Never," she whispers. "I would rather die."

"That can be arranged," I tell her.

Ward tightens his grip around her neck and I can see blood dripping down her skin onto her black cloak. Her face begins to turn several shades of blue and purple as her body is denied oxygen.

"Let her go," I tell Ward.

Ward looks at me and whines like a puppy that is about to lose his toy. I can tell that he doesn't want to let her go because he doesn't trust her not to kill us when she is set free. But I know that I am stronger than her. They wouldn't have tried so hard to bind my powers if I wasn't.
