Victoria's outburst

Jane’s POV

Victoria’s tone was genuine when she said that, but I knew how it always ended up with her. She would find a problem to pin on me and blame me for it.

She had been a pain in my butt when I had first arrived and right now, staying with her, I could see how weak she was.

She was not the strong Luna I had seen her to be. She was instead a weak woman who was seeking attention from her husband who didn’t give her any since he gave them all to me.

“I already have enough on my plate Victoria,” Sinclair said with a deep tone. “I don’t feel like having more troubles added to it.”

This was my chance to place myself as the top dog in the Luna chain.

“Hey baby,” I smiled at the alpha. “Don’t be too harsh on her. She doesn’t know much about what’s happening.”

Victoria stared at me in anger. She was fuming after what had been said.

“Are you fucking kidding me right now?” she growled.

“Language,” said the alpha.

“No,” she shook her head, pushing her chair back as she got to her feet. “No!
