I found his words to be shocking but kept my cool. They all had reasons for why they did what they did.

The werewolves found us to be weird strange creatures. I was ready for their next analysis.

“What else do you have against the witches?” I asked, folding my eyes while staring into his eyes.

“Just them being demonic. That’s all.”

I nodded, looking at the witch whom I knew to be a student of mine. I was disappointed but also impressed. She had tried defending her people.

“What are you doing here?” I asked. “Shouldn’t you be in the barrier and not out here?”

“I was in the barrier when I heard them tossing shades at us. They tried breaking through the barrier and Martha kept it up but she was already tired from doing that all day and needed to rest.

“Also, none of us were strong enough to take over so we let her be but when the insults got louder, I created a loophole with some of the witches here and decided to put an end to their madness.”
