Jane’s POV

“You’re hiding your power from the people even when they now trust you,” she said.

“Martha, if they don’t know about my powers I won’t be seen as a stranger. They would bring my problems to us. They would not see me as an outcast or an alien. Trust me, I know all of this because I am living in this place.”

“So you think staying as a wolf alone would help…”

“Just for the time being, old lady,” I chuckled. “Relax, we still have a long way to go.”

She shrugged and I walked to the palace.

When I left for my room, thoughts of how I would tell Sinclair about my powers filled my head before I pushed it aside. Maybe I didn’t need to tell him.

I wondered if he knew but wasn’t saying anything to me yet. My powers were not something that could be hidden if he followed me around to know about my powers.
