Jane’s POV

Everything that happened in the pack was because Sullivan was the alpha. He wasn’t fit to be a ruler.

Everywhere I could see guards beating citizens up. This wasn’t how to run a pack. He was abusing his power and the people were paying for a crime they didn’t commit.

“Well this sucks,” I grunted before flooring the car to the palace to be apprehended by the guards who saw me and frowned harder.

From the way they gripped their weapons I could tell they had gotten wind of what I had done earlier. I didn’t regret it. For I knew I would do it again if it ever came down to it.

“Welcome,” the leader of the guards rounded the car as he said to me, before coming the window to look inside the car. “You’ve got a nice car.”

“Thank you,” I gave a fake smile.

“Passing through?”

“I’m here to see your alpha.”

He used his tongue to clean his teeth as I was disgusted by this action.

“He’s too busy to see you,” he said.
