Sinclair’s POV

“I’m with… a friend,” I heard her say just as my heart started to beat harder in my chest.

Something was off and I could not put my hand on what it was.

“Where are you? Are you in the pack?”

I groaned in rage with Ethan joining me.

“What did she say?” He asked as I looked away. I didn’t know how to tell him he was right even if it was only a part of the truth.

“And you about her leaving the pack, how?” I asked. “Is this a part of your ploy?”
