Alexander's POV

Ever since I got back to my room, I had been restless. No matter how hard I closed my eyes, I just kept picturing her face at the back of my mind.

I exhaled, running my hands over my hair.

"Hey, baby." I heard Lisa's voice echo from behind me.

I spun around to meet her beautiful eyes.

"They are not as beautiful as our mate’s eyes."

The faint smile that managed to cover my lips began to drop in an instant.

"Shut it." I groaned inside my head.

My steps guided me over to the door, and I swung it open.
