Charlotte's point of view

I held the bottle of champagne and was making my way to Zoey's room when I overheard Clara's voice ahead of me.

The room Nicholas had moved her into was a grand room that was two rooms away from mine.

The rooms in this line were reserved for royal guests and visitors. How dare Nicholas move this tramp to my reserved room?

I personally designed all of these rooms. I could also hear Clara's loud voice. She was giving orders.

“Move this ugly ottoman from here. I wonder who put this. Is this the 1950’s?” She was asking them to move stuff out of the room.

Servants were coming out from that direction. I was beginning to rethink my decision.

What if someone saw me go into Zoey's room?

I wanted to pass Clara's room when I heard her shouting my name. “Charlotte!”

I refused to stop. I heard footsteps behind me. Clara was running towards me. 

She touched me and I flinched. I stepped forward, turned around and stopped walking.

She then stood in front of me, heaving.

“I just wanted to apologize for what happened the other day.” She had now gotten herself.

I did not acknowledge her apology. I just kept staring at her.

She was a vermin, and I wanted her to go away.

“Is that a yes or a no? Have you accepted my apology?”

Silence..

“Okay, since you won't say anything, you can come and inspect my room. I put some new touches on them. As my senior wife, I would love you to tell me if you're okay with it.” Clara was beginning to pester me.

Senior wife?

Seriously?

She moved forward again to touch me but I stepped back.

“Come on! Why won't you talk to me? You don't treat a pregnant woman this way. You made me run all the way from my room just to talk to you. This is our baby. What is mine is also yours. We can share?” I could see that the one week I was locked up by Nicholas, he had taken his time to give Clara some stupid audacity.

I still refused to say a word. I was dizzy from hunger but I still managed to maintain standing.

I walked to the wall and leaned on it for support. 

“What's in your hands?” She came forward and wanted to touch the things I bought.

I shifted it away from her. My face was twisted in a malicious frown. 

“Oh! Do I smell some crackers? I've been craving crackers. Please can I have one?” Clara begged me.

After she was done with her charade, I decided to put her in her place. “Stop this foolishness! Stop, immediately!”

Clara retreated from begging me. 

“What's with you telling everyone that my husband is planning to take you in as a second wife?” I asked Clara.

She was mute. “I'm sorry. I just thought I could bond with you?”

“Bond? Am I your older sister? Am I your mother?”

“You don't have to be harsh. We can settle this like adults.” Clara had now gone back to herself.

“We are adults. I am settling it exactly how adults should be settling cases. And what you do not understand is that…You. Are. Stalking. Me.” This time around I looked Clara boldly in the eye.  

“When I give birth to my child, I'd love to name her after you. I'm sure she'd be a girl. We are ladies. Don't let any man pitch us against ourselves,” Clara continued.

“Pitch us against ourselves?”

You already pitched yourself against me when you decided to sleep with my husband behind my back. Such a stupid hypocrite. 

“Now, Clara, you listen to me. I want to give you a very strict warning. Let this be the last time you try to stop me to talk to me. I will not condone this attitude anymore. Next time I will throw you out of this pack without thinking twice” I walked away from Clara without buffing.

As I turned to enter another lobby, a maid came up to me. 

She had apparently been watching the whole drama. 

“Luna! It's the Alpha’s older brother and his wife. They are here!!” She announced with a shaky voice.

Alpha Landon and Luna Riley? Did my husband know about their visit?

“The Alpha is already seated with them in the garden. He asked me to call you to join them.” 

“Okay, Hilda. You can go.”

I reversed and went back to my room. Luckily for me, my maid, Eloise, was there to help me eat.

She had also come with some food. 

In no time, I was dressed and all glammed up. Eloise escorted me to the garden to see my guests.

When I reached, I locked eyes with them, Alpha Landon and Luna Riley. They still looked so hot.

Butterflies were in my belly and Luna Riley smiled. Her dimples came into view. I looked at her husband, he had the look of a viking with pearly white teeth.

Luna Riley was a swinger. Infact, both of them were swingers. 

Their marriage was open and they brought in people, including their servants, to their beds. 

My husband did not like Riley because she worked in a whore house before she married her husband. 

Alpha Landon loved whores. He never hid it, he welcomed strange women into his marriage and he was constantly in the city's brother or strip club, dick deep into some whore.

Luna Riley did not care. While she did not cheat on him with men, she was a terrible lesbian.

She also had some woman sticking her tongue into her pussy and she offered her friends to her husband.

When Riley wanted to marry Landon, their parents revolted, they stripped him of money and comfort, trying to threaten him into staying away from Riley, but he refused.

A lot of people asked what he saw in a whore, but he had his reasons and he refused to tell anyone.

Everyone swore Riley had used some black magic on him.

Even Nicholas tried to speak some sense into him but he would not listen.

When everyone saw that he was truly in love with Riley, they called Landon back to the family and reconciled with him.

Their father, Alpha John, offered him their late uncle's pack, which was the smallest pack owned by their family. Nicholas was second in line so he was offered this pack and Landon was okay with it.

He was not materialistic. “Give me some booze , food and pussy, I'm okay,” he would always say.

Luna Riley had tried to move to me several times. They had vacationed here before and she tried to be sexual with me but I resisted her.

I had to lie to Nicholas that I was having nightmares because of her and he asked them to leave. Well, they left….and they are back again.

I walked up to the patio where they sat and hugged Riley. “Hi Rye.” She pecked me and I hugged her husband too.

When I was done, I sat close to Nicholas. There was tension in the atmosphere. 

“To what, do I owe this graceful visit?” I asked my guests as I popped a bottle of wine and emptied it in their glasses.

“We came here…because of you,” Riley said as she leaned over to pick her glass of wine. I could swear I also saw her wink..
