We all paced back and forth the ward hall way, I ended up settling down on a chair made of steel, placing my hand on my chin as I dived into thoughts. Fear, anxiety and worry clouded my entire body and even Frey feared for the worst.

Grey was the only one allowed into the wardroom because his name was all Sonia would mutter. Lily, Jude and Jade stayed outside with me, along with Sonia’s mother.

The woman had the most worrisome look on her face than the rest of us and I could not blame her, her only daughter who was heavily pregnant had a huge fall and was bleeding.

In the midst of the tense atmosphere, I couldn’t help but notice how each person in the room was wrapped up in their own thoughts and concerns regarding Sonia’s condition. The collective worry for her well-being cast a heavy shadow over us.
