Katherine pov

"Katherine," I heard my name and just on time, I turned around with a glare.

"What?"

"Woah, you're up early," Jade smirked, pushing the door open wide. Jude followed behind as they both stared at me in disbelief.

I didn't give a reply, I was being cautious of what to say so I would be able to buttress my point about their infidelity. It took them a while but I believed they finally got the message.

My gaze bore into Jude and Jade, an unsettling anger boiling within me. I stood there, tapping my feet impatiently, clutching Brenda's panties in my hand like an accusation waiting to be addressed. The room seemed to pulse with the unspoken demand for an explanation, and the air hung heavy with tension.

In that charged moment, Jude's response was nothing short of deadpan. "Oh," he muttered, his eyes locking onto what I held. Jade, standing beside him, mirrored the realisation with widened eyes. Suddenly, an awkward silence enveloped us all, suffocating the room as if time
