Fighting For Forgiveness

Sebastian POV

I was talking with my guards who told me that my beta was only a few minutes out from the pack, I was eager to hear about the leads we had from the rogue kingdom as my mates were set on residing there. My attention was grabbed when my guard mind linked me that there was a ash grey wolf aproaching our territory,

I turn to look only to see my mate there, "She came!" Bastian said excitedly, "She really did." Tian said with shock as he was slightly excited. "Don't ever underestimate our mate again." I say as I press my lips into a line while scolding Tian.

I was snapped to my senses when my guard mind linked me that my mate had stopped and sat down, she did no move only watched me, when I refocused I saw her watching me with her beautiful Lapiz eyes, so blue and dark with a hint of gold near the pupil, her scent was masked well.

"Almost there my lord." Johnny says through the mind link as I smile hearing that my beta was nearing us, "Finally you came!" I say to him to hide the excitement of my mate being so near to me willingly. I walk past her but not with ease as I mind link my beta, "My mate is here, isn't she perfect?" I ask Johnny who nods and approaches me as I walk to him, a small whimper could be heard from my mate and frustration hits me like a tidal wave, I continue to brief Johnny on the situation at hand when I hear my mate speak to me.

"sebastian?" she says softly but with defeat drenched on the way she spoke my name. "Sebastian? I came to tell you that I want to accept you as my mate." She says with the same tone which made me even more frustrated, she didn't sound enthusiastic about accepting me..."she just traveled here Seb, give the girl a chance she might be tired." Tian says shockingly as I nod slightly and look at her.

"I see, very well. Follow me then." I say as I mind link my guards to be on the look out for rogues since Johnny told me that some rogues had been following him in secret. It did not sit well with me considering my mate was also traveling here to our pack lands and she was merely three minutes out from Johnny. Seems as though her "Boss" is having her tailed to report back to him. 

"what if it was her boss who called." Tian mentioned which earned him a growl from Bastian who was ready to tear him apart, it was not possible since we all shared the same vessel. I smirk as we reach the pack house, I hated my pack house because the minute I would walk in every woman kept saying hello to me, the one thing I disliked the most was the scowls that were being directed to my mate. 

"We will need to put our memebers in check, They are scowling at their future luna." Tian says as I sigh lightly as I hum in response. She was skiddish like a mouse, so small and fraile. Her figure was perfect, and her hair was beautiful almost like her lapiz colored eyes that had a hint of gold near the pupil area.

She seemed to be used to the glares that were given to her, which reminded me of when I first ran into our little mate she was consumed with reading that I almost lost my footing when seeing the book that coverd her small head, if it had not been for her falling at that moment I would have questioned the moon-goddess for mating me to a she-wolf that had a book for a head, it would raise a lot of questions on how she got it in the first place. 

Sighing I stormed out of the room I led her into as our maid came to show her where she would stay and what she should change into, I almost forgot that I was in the same room as her but once I spoke my peace it was like Bastian wanted fresh air.

"I can not believe that she aggreed to stay in the pack for the time being, but did any of you notice her face when we said it?" Tian said which grabbed my attention, I mind link my guards that surrounded the border, "Make sure no one gets in or out when I am gone on buisness tomrrow." I command to my men as they all repeat back to me "Yes King." in unision. 

I planned to talk to cherry at their condo and reject her because my Luna has come home to me, but not only that it would have to be Tian who spoke to her since he was blind sided by the new possible mate that we encountered.

1hr Later...........

I ran as fast as my feet would carry me only to find that the house had been ransacked and the place was emptied. Cherry was nowhere to be found and that made me and Tian anxious as the people started to come and observe the now vacant home. 

"I heard that a girl with long hair short and non verbal of our language left from here hours ago..but I never thought we would experience such a mess from the people in the neighborhood." Said a elderly rogue to another. They seemed to be in shock that the house underwent such extreme measures by those who possibly lived in the same neighborhood.

Looking around I tried to pick up Tian's Mates scent but an uncomfortable feeling set in and I realized that Tian had been quiet the whole way here, it was like he was no longer here with us. "Tian please come out and let me help you." I requested of him as he unblocks me but anger was all I felt, betrayl was mixed in as he did not say anything to me. 

"Is she in their old pack?" I asked Tian and all I recieved was a huff from him which was enough for us to transform and chase after his mate, though she was not Bastian's nor mine to have, he deserved to have a mate he could relate to. 

We used what little energy we had left to run faster to her pack as her scent could be smelt after 2hrs of running, It was everywhere, but her scent was not the only one we tracked, there was two if not three other scents that followed her, she ran like a mad woman to escaped them.

I ran faster to her scent that was closest and found a lot of blood, "Tian...did you feel her die?" I asked which raised Bastian's alertness to keep a closer eye out to a possible unbreathing woman on the floor. It was wierd how Tian was not speaking at the moment. 

"Your Majesty. Your Mate is Requesting to speak to you on the phone. Its about her current house and her bestfriend who stays with her." Johnny says to me and anger courses through me at his words. "We need to go to our mate." Tian says and I go to keep searching. 

"Cherry is no longer our mate, we need to go to our luna before she chooses to come back to her friend." Tian says as he becomes frustrated at having to release that information to me.
