The Wait

Cherry POV

After Grace left I went to follow her but then my mates scent was near by, almost as if he could sense me. I chose to follow Sebastians scent as I ran with all I had, I was not going to give up on my mate and this time I would not loose him to Grace. 

I allowed Cher to follow our mates scent as we ran for hours, she stopped when our old pack came into view and confusion hit us like a brick. Cher was now on high alert, "We were tricked." She says with anger rolling inside her. I was upset as well, who would trick me like this? Did Grace know of Sebastian and I? Or was this someone else?

Footsteps could be heard near the border as we got closer, it wasn't till I saw our other Mate sitting there smirking is when I knew he lured me here but the worst thing was he was not alone. Mine and Grace's bullies were with him, I stopped and sat down which made his smile grow wider in a creepy fashion. 

He did not look normal, it was like if he was possesed by something, the smile was so uncanny and it made me and Cher nervous. "That is not our mate...that is a Skinwalker!" Cher stated as she began to run back to the rogue pack to escape the monster that tricked us into going near their territory and not our old pack. 

Panting as we ran it was like this thing could fly, it was fast and strong. Cher was hurt multiple times as she ran away from the damn thing to get us to safety, we were hidding now in the fountains that had been masked for those who become lost in the outlands that covered monsters like them and the rogues. But would it mask my scent from it if I was now a rogue? 

I tried to still my heart as I sat here waiting for whatever outcome, the Skinwalkers ran past the cave but there was one missing...my pulse increased as i watched the entrance and slowed my breathing. Before it could enter a snarl was heard and bones snapping followed by a bone chilling scream made my blood run cold as the skinwalkers body fell infront of the cave and was tossed inside it,. 

"Come out little one, I will not harm you." a deep and comanding voice could be heard outside the cave which made my bones shake aggressively. "I am not a skinwalker if that is what you are worried about, I am of like you." He says as my breathing evens out. I come out from hiding and the skin walkers body was no longer a body but a sack of bones and blood, it was disgusting. 

I walk outside the cave to see a larger Wolf, Black fur covered him as he walked around the cave to retrieve clothes that were hiding in a log, Argo, the Rogue King. He looked like a human but was not normal. He had red eyes and was 7foot tall with short grey hair. He was not built with muscle but that did not mean he was not capable of tearing me to bits if he wanted to. 

"Interesting, you seem to have a very strong wolf. Why are you rogue little one?" Argo asked me as I stared at him not being able to speak to him due to being scared to my core of this man, this man we were all told to avoid and fear. The man they proclaimed to be dangerous had saved me and was not attacking me, he eyed me closely as he examined my wolf and her injuries. 

"You have many injuries that need to be attended to...you must go to your mate." Argo says to me which made me realise that I didnt have one. "I dont have one sir." I say to Argo as he looks at me curiosly, he seems to be in his thoughts when his eyes gloss over and he sighs. 

"You need a mate to heal otherwise you wont heal and will bleed out." Argo says as I transition back to human in front of him. His eyes train my body as his wolf peeks through is eyes as his wolf looks me up and down. 

Argo looks to me after his wolf leaves once more, "If you wish but she must be willing." he says outloud to his wolf. "Willing of what?" I say to Argo and his eyes train my body and its curves as he walks around me observing me closely to see which wounds were deeper than the rest. 

It made me nervous to be examined this way as I stood outside the cave naked, near a man I just met who had saved me from a monster. "Will you be my chosen mate? Just till you heal?" Argo asks me in a serious and worried tone. 

"Yes, but why temporary?" I ask making him stop for a moment and think to himself, "Well who would be willing to stay mated to a monster like me?" He says as he walks inside the cave, I follow him inside only to witness him eat the bones that were laying on the ground in the pool of blood that remaind of the skinwalker. 

"Oh how romantic." Cher says and I refrain from giggling because I chose life not death. Argo was now cleaning his mouth out at the pond that laid in the center of the cave which made me glad that I chose not to go into that earlier, but before I could assume he would spit the water back in the pond he swallowed it and it made me gag a little. 

"My apologies I forgot I am not alone." He says as he reaches for some fruits that hung from the tree, he eats a hand full and I smile at the stain that it leaves on his lips and hands, "You know you are not that scary once you talk to people." I say playfully and walk closer to him. 

He was watching my movements which made me blush since I was still naked, I climbed into the pond which made his eyes watch my breasts more, "come and rinse off with me." I tell him in a shaking tone since I was nervous. I never done anything with a man before and it was something I was saving for my mate. 

He catches on to what I was implying and undresses quickly and enters the pond with me, I blushed deeply at the size of his man hood that I saw briefly. He closed the gap between us within a second and was now pulling my body closer to his, he sniffed my neck as a pur was let out by him, his long teeth ran down my neck and into the spot his mark was to lay.

He waisted no time in sinking his teeth down to the bone which caused a mixture of pain and lust at the same time, his scent hit me like a ton of brick and the bond snapped in place so quick it made me dizzy. He held me close to his body as he licked my neck to clean it from any blood that might have spilt out, I felt high and warm inside as his scent of Blackberries and Ash came to me in waves. 

It drove my wolf mad as she had me sniffing his neck withing the next second causing my teeth to elongate and to run down his neck as well, he purred at the feel of my teeth on his neck, and talked me through what to do, but I was not as quick as he was and it made him moan loudly as my teeth sank in a bit slower than he had done to me, the taste of his blood made me realise that he was not a wolf but a lycan. 

My teeth his his bone and he began to pant a little as he licked my neck sending sparks across my body from the mark he left on my neck, his emotions smashed into me and I could feel how horny he was right now. I cleaned the spot my mark layed on his neck as he asked me in a gentle tone. "Woud you like to finish the bond?" Argo says in a deep and husky voice as I Nod in return. 

My wounds were almost healed but all I craved was his touch of his skin against mine, his mouth with is soft plump lips on mine, I was now his and he was mine and it made me feel whole. After a few rounds we relaxed in the water and his words woke me from my slumber on his chest. 

"We must leave now, we have spent too much time here." He says as I not and get out of the water to transition back into my wolf only this time did it happen quicker and did my wolf feel foreign to me. 

"What happened to me?" Cher asked Argo and his lycan.  "You are now stronger and no longer a mortal wolf..you are a lycan my Queen." Aro says to Cher as she is filled with joy, We head out of the cave to run to our new home with our new mate when Sebastian's scent hit me and all I felt was anger towards him. 

"Do not worry about him, it will be handled my queen." Aro says to me as we run to our pack, I left everyone behind me and I planned for not only him to be handled but his little mate as well. They would all pay for what they did to me.
