Chapter Thirty-One

When I woke up alone, I realized Jax went to his training without me and instantly put me in a bad mood. It was slightly lessened when my old duffle  bag sat at the end of the bed. It looked so dirty and out of place compared to the rest of the room. I almost groaned in pleasure at the feeling of jeans and a sports bra again. 

I knocked on the door connecting Meghan’s room, hoping she was there. I didn’t really want to roam around this house, I wanted to go to exactly one place. 

“Good morning!” She sang, opening the door excitedly. I grimaced, not ready for that kind of energy just yet. “Want to get some breakfast?” 

“Uhh sure. Then can you take me to the library?” I smiled at her. 

“I thought Jax was going to give you the tour.” She asked,
