Chapter Thirty-Three

“You’re a fool.”  Sabine hissed at the Alpha. His eyes turned a terrifying red and I flinched into Jax, who gripped my hip steadying me. I instinctively reached out to her with my shield, the murderous face of the Alpha had me scared of what he was going to do. She turned to me as if she could feel my magic and furrowed her brow.

The Alpha followed her gaze and I matched his, turning my chin up. I felt Jax grip my hips harder, his fingers almost digging into my skin. I clenched my teeth, refusing to look away.
