Twenty Three

My eyes widened as dominance consumed Nate.

He chucked the handcuff sets on the bed before stepping closer to me.

“Stand up” he demanded.

As if my legs had a mind of their own, I rose from the bed and stood before him.

“Turn around”.

I did as asked and turned to face the bed, with my back towards him.

He ran his fingers down my arms, leaving goosebumps where he trailed. He reached for one side of my hair, before moving it across to the other side and leaving one shoulder bare.

I felt his lips press against the back of my neck, forcing me to let out a gasp at the surprise touch, before he trailed kisses along the top of my shoulder.

He placed a hand on my exposed thigh from the slit of my dress and seductively ran it up my leg.

I rested the back of my head against his chest as I enjoyed the sensations of his touch.

    It had been a five days since the social, where Nate announced I was his mate and the future Queen. All but a select few were still completely oblivious to my fae heritage and we intended to keep it that way for as long as possible. I spent Saturday morning exploring the castle grounds and getting to know members of the Royal Court with Nate, before heading into the local town with Maddie and Amber. It had felt amazing to leave the academy and participate in your average teenage girl activities, such as shopping and gossiping with your best friends. We had found the perfect dresses for the spring dance in two weeks time and I couldn’t wait for my handsome mate to rip it off me.     After escorting Chloe to her dorm, I checked to make sure as many students as I could were okay.
