Chapter 6: Weakness

"I thought I was an artist that turns into being popular," said Cindy.

Cindy was overwhelmed by her classmates, she thought she was popular among the others because of the affection she was getting.

"What's wrong with them? I am an ordinary person without a father; they are more blessed than me," she added.

She was looking at the window of their classroom when she saw someone passing by,

"Dad?" she said with an emotional voice.

She stood up while her classmates startled and glaring at her,

She runs to the corridor to see if that is her dad, the man walking along the corner,

She saw that it was not her dad, it is a different person,

"Maybe I missed him, that's why I see him everywhere," she said.

Cindy goes back to her seat, and her classmates ask her if she met her dad,

Cindy is too ashamed to tell her classmates that her dad cheated and left.

Next scene, it's time to go home Cindy standing in front of the gate of their school she waiting for her mother,

Geneva saw her and she ask Cindy if where she was life,

"I live at…" Cindy felt ashamed, she remembered that their house is not the same anymore,

but she said, "I lived in the small alley there, my mom rented a small room for us," she answered confidentially.

"Oh, that's great we lived in the same place though," Geneva said.

"Really?" Cindy added,

"Yes, we owned a house there," Geneva said,

"Even though it's a very tight alley, we used to live there with my mom, she raised me well. I was raised without a father," she added,

Cindy though they have the same situation so she confessed with Geneva,

"Me too, we used to live in the village where rich people can afford but then my dad left us without a word," Cindy said.

She also said that it's okay to be her mom anyway,

Geneva said that she didn't know her father ever since the day she was born.

Cindy and Geneva got closer to each other, they used to be together always.

Cindy thought life was miserable but she realized she has a mother that won't give up on her despite not having a husband.

Next scene, Cindy and Geneva walked together heading to their home, Cindy buys fresh juice, she buys three,

One for her, Geneva, and for her mom, She has consoled thanks to Geneva.

They were almost home, Cindy say goodbye to Geneva because she was already in their house,

"So it's where you lived, my house is a bit closer to yours see you tomorrow bye," Geneva said.

"Thank you for today Geneva, Bye!" said Cindy.

Cindy got home, as she opened the door she saw her mother Stella sat beside of table while covering her face,

Cindy asks her mom what's wrong with her, and Stella answers, "I felt I lost day by day."

Stella won't know where she can get for their daily expenses and it drives her crazy.

Next scene, Stella should wake up in the morning because it is Sunday, a lot of people goes into the church on Sunday,

She didn't notice that she fell asleep on the sofa while contacting some of the suppliers,

Stella assumes that Cindy is still asleep in the room so she prepares breakfast before she leaves.

After an hour, she was prepared to leave. She brought the Sampaguitas then she left.

Stella arrived in the church then she saw a lot of people gathered in one spot, she was confused if what's with there,

She stepped closer to the spot, she heard people's claps and saying, "Such a talented girl".

She saw Cindy grabbing a pellet gun and she was shooting the plastic bottle without any mistake,

Cindy receives donations from her viewers because she is a talented one despite her age, and someone offered her to show her talent in a real firing range,

Her mom Stella, was so proud of her. Cindy noticed that her mom was there so she introduce her to a lot of people,

"Do you know who this strong woman is? She raised her daughter well despite struggles, by the way, she's my mom," said Cindy.

"Now that my father left us, we are both happy and trying to survive in life," she added.

"To those already a dad out there, make sure if you have a cute baby like me don't try to leave them or else you'll lose." her last word then they left.

Cindy has matured enough even though she's not in average age yet,

Stella couldn't sell her Sampaguitas because Cindy dragged her out of nowhere,

She was dragged into the Park near Cindy's school, Cindy treated her to an Ice cream from her pocket.

While they were sitting on the grass some children were passing by, then she heard,

"Is it she? our classmate? the one who has not a father,"

"Poor her, she's too young,"

"I thank that my dad is not like her father,"

Cindy felt embarrassed so she ran out of shame headed to their home.

Next scene at their place, Stella comes into the room she knows better how to struggle her daughter is,

Stress, anxiety, fear, madness, and feel emptiness is not easy to overcome

She saw Cindy lying on her bed while crying, and Stella says sorry because she can't do anything to get her dad back,

"I know I'm weak because I'm used to it, I'm too young. I'm not supposed to be like this," said Cindy.

Cindy's father became her biggest weakness even though Han taught her how to become stronger.

Cindy promised to herself," should become stronger than anyone else because I still have a mother,"

"My mom didn't give up, so why should I?"

"Achieving my goals should be the biggest revenge on my dad," she said.

She went out with her mother, they ate dinner, she let her mother see that she was okay and had been not okay.

The next day, It was in the morning while Cindy is preparing for school someone is knocking at the door,

As Stella opens the door she saw Geneva, Geneva said let Cindy go with her to school,

Stella asked her who she is, then Cindy answered her mom, "She's a friend of mine mom, she lived here too."

"Yes aunt, I live there I guess 4 houses away from her," said Geneva while pointing her finger.

Stella asks Geneva if she had her breakfast then Geneva said she's done,

Geneva amended the bush and say goodbye to Stella, she said that their class hour is already started,

Stella said to let her accompany them to cross the road.

As Cindy and Geneva crossed the road they said bye to Stella while they are on the other way of the  road,

They waved their hands and started to run to school.

When they arrived, Cindy hesitates to enter the classroom,

Geneva walks first and she asks Cindy why she is sweating, and Cindy says it's too hot that's why,

Cindy attempts to run however Geneva holds her hand and starts to drag her in front of their classroom.

"Classmates, may I pay your attention?"Geneva said,

"I know a lot of you have a perfect family, you have mom and dad. But please don't discriminate like us for not having a father," said Geneva,

"Did you get me? I know we're too young to think about these problems but I am a child too," she added,

Cindy starts to stare at Geneva, wondering what she can do because she's too scared by her classmates.

Geneva said to her she may take a seat, and then Cindy bowed her head then she sat.

Every single day Cindy asks herself why it should be her, she asks God why she should suffer even she's too young,

Cindy has been almost perfect ever since but look at her now, she's nothing.

Cindy's life taught us that not all life you will be in a good state of life, be humble every single day.

Don't ever let yourself drag anyone down because one day you can't handle it if you are in the situation.

After 4 years, Cindy and Geneva had  already grown up they preparing to enter Secondary School after they graduated,

They search for the best school around their location, they become more closer even they are in Primary School,

While they are hanging around to choose their School they saw a man who's too cute, he is walking along the sideways of Mall,

Geneva started to giggle and Cindy glared at him and said, "he's not cute though,"

"What?" Are you blind? Geneva said while staring at her with bending her waist,

"Look Cindy, I saw a school that around this Mall maybe it's not expensive," Geneva said,

Geneva saw a School around Mall, it excites her because it's too near around the Mall,

She dragged Cindy to look out for the School she saw, she ask the guard how to  inquire about School enrollment,

Guard told them that they can enter the admission office and look for fill up form,

"Let's, go, Cindy, here we go," Geneva said,

Cindy seems nothing she can do because doesn't want Geneva far from her,

"I don't like this school, it's too crowded for me but what should I do? It's Geneva's choice." Cindy murmured to herself.

They headed to the admission office while walking Geneva suddenly stumbled in the sliding door,

She didn't notice that it was a door, won't have an idea that it was a door though,

"What are you doing?" asked Cindy while laughing so hard,

Geneva said, she doesn't know that it was a door because she it for the first time,

"Are you happy now? so if you're happy let's go," Geneva said while she grab Cindy's hand,

While they filling up the form, someone in the admission asks if  they are twin because they have similarities,

Cindy don't mind her but Geneva joke around and said yes they are sisters but different mothers then she laughed,

Cindy seems not happy to hear that, that someone who asked if they were sisters is one of the Prof in their school,

The joke sounds fascinating for Geneva but for Cindy it's an irritable joke because she remembered her Dad cheated,

They already filled up the form, and passed the requirements given,

After a couple of minutes, the one who assisted them told that they passed and see them on school days,

Geneva is very excited but Cindy seems to change her mood, Geneva ask her to ate before they go home but Cindy insists and she want go home,

Geneva said straight to the point that what's wrong with her, she asked Cindy that why she always like that,

Cindy's too moody, seems she has bipolar condition, sometimes she's good to talk but sometimes she's too sensitive,

Geneva walked out, and she said to herself that she can't handle Cindy's temper anymore,

She remembered back days when Cindy is too happy with her, and later on Cindy becomes aggressive and started to fight with their classmate,

Geneva saw Cindy that time, Cindy grabbed her classmate's hair and wanting to pulled from the fourth floor,

Geneva is too scared to Cindy that time, however she remembered that Cindy is a friend of her so she hugged Cindy from the back to prevent any accidents,

She prevented Cindy from committing a crime, ever since Geneva was always there whenever Cindy became aggressive.

While Geneva was walking home, someone threw a gun to Geneva and Cindy pulled her in the road,

Road that there's a lot of cars passing by, seems Cindy wanting to commit suicide with Geneva,

She pulled Geneva with her in the middle of the highway and a lot of cars.
