Chapter 59

Claire's POV

"Claire, can we talk?" Gwen asked as she sat next to me in Calculus. Before I could respond, the bell rang, and Mr. Thompson started class. About fifteen minutes later, Stephen and Steven walked into class and took their seats across from Gwen and me.

"Claire," Stephen said while Mr. Thompson was talking, but I ignored him. I didn't want to have this conversation in a class with a bunch of werewolves who could hear everything we were saying."We don't have to talk in here, but after class, we are going to talk this out," Stephen finished.

My eyes stayed on Mr. Thompson as he talked. I didn't dare look at Stephen, Steven, or Gwen all through class, but I could feel their gaze on mine the entire time. I could sense through the bond Gwen and I shared that she was hurt that I wouldn't acknowledge her and also felt terrible that she made me upset. When class was finished, I grabbed my bag and started to leave the room. Stephen grabbed my hand and began walking somewhere. Gwe
