Chapter 60

Claire's POV

"This is a really nice house. I can't believe you two built it," I said.

After we were done with our activities, Stephen and Steven gave me a tour of the house. It had a family room, kitchen, dining room, and bathroom on the first floor. On the second floor, there was a bathroom and four bedrooms. The master had a walk-in closet. The was a backyard with a fence around it.

"I am happy you like it. We can stay here sometimes if you like," Stephen said

"That sounds good," I replied

"Instead of going back to school, I think it would be better for all of us to sit here and talk," Stephen said.

We were outside, and there was a deck with a table and chairs. We all sat at the table and waited for him to continue.

"I am going to get straight to the point. I don't like that you were in the car with Gary this morning," Stephen said.

"Not this again. What is your problem with my dad?" Gwen asked

"I don't trust him," Stephen replied
