Chapter 62

Gwen's POV

"Gwen, where are you going," Claire asked as I began walking toward the woods

"For a run, I will see you back at the Packhouse," I replied. I needed to get away from her before I said something I would regret.

"Okay," I heard Claire say before I made it through the trees. I stripped out of my clothes and shifted into my black wolf.

I couldn't believe Stephen and Steven. I will not lie, my dad hasn't been the best, but he was trying. Why did Stephen and Steven want to ruin that for me? They knew how terribly I wanted my dad to be there for me, just like Sean is there for them.

I hated how they tried to make it seem like I couldn't protect Claire. I would die for her. What was worse was the fact that she appeared to be on their side.

I ran for about an hour and ended up at my parent's house. I retrieved a shirt and pants that I had hidden in the trees close to my parent's house and put them on.
