Maddox turned to Lance and said, "You heard Mr. Storey. From now on, the Alaister family is banished from Jonesburg!"

Lance collapsed to the ground, his face drained of color. He immediately knelt and pleaded, "Mr. Schmidt, please show us mercy. You can deal with my unworthy son as you see fit; all I ask is that you spare the Alaister family."
