Chapter 15

Al clutched his bleeding wrist in a panic, desperately trying to stand. However, Myles planted a foot on his shoulder, pressing him down with immense force.

"Let me go! I need to get to the hospital," Al demanded. He was both frightened and furious as his blood was flowing out uncontrollably.

He knew that if he did not get medical help soon, he could bleed to death.

"Your memory seems bad—you still haven't cleaned my shoe," Myles reminded him calmly.

Al seethed with anger, but feeling his strength ebb away, he quickly caved and licked Myles' shoe.

He immediately gagged, and the sight made everyone else in the room feel queasy.

Only then did Myles remove his foot. He never bullied the weak, but that did not mean he was without a temper.

Catalina, brimming with excitement, turned to Christopher and said, "Mr. Alaister, I apologize for his rough handling of your man. You should take him to the hospital immediately; we'll cover all medical expenses."
