Chapter 11

"You have a weak stomach. It's better not to drink. If there's nothing else you need, please leave," Myles said with a sigh. He still could not bring himself to be harsh with Luna.

During the darkest times of his life, Luna was the one who had stood by him through those difficult years.

Relieved, Luna hurriedly left the private room, almost fleeing. Parker and the others followed, only relaxing once they were outside.

"How could Myles, that foo—guy, be sitting with Mr. Goldberg and Mr. Castillo?" Ingrid wondered aloud. She had initially wanted to call Myles a fool, but seeing him with Colton and Hayes had scared her into changing her tone.

The group then exchanged confused glances.

None of them understood why Myles was with those two influential figures. They had clearly seen how both Colton and Hayes not only sat with Myles but also seemed to treat him with a great deal of respect.
