Chapter 6

Sam's POV

The pack was barely able to run 15 miles, half of them fainted by 16, and only 20 of them completed the 20 but blacked out right after. If I were to define the pack with one word, I'd say there isn't a word to describe how pathetic they are. When everyone remained there, they were conscious and rested, I told them to pick a sparring partner similar in size who wasn't someone they knew.

"Right now, you are all weak. I won't share any details. I don't care if you're a Beta, Alpha, and so on. By Pack standards, you are strong, but we are going to war with the worst dark creatures with dark witches backing them up they are almost unstoppable, so you need to train harder. This training will be rigorous, I will not go easy on you just because you are a veteran or a newbie. S be ready for it."

As I finished my speech, murmurs broke out among the crowd, and Anastasia, my number one bully, called out. "Why should we take orders from you? You were just a little runt." As Anastasia, or Bitchy witch like how would love to say it out loud, was ranting the crowd backed up a bit knowing that if this is going anywhere it would most likely end with bad consequences.

"Look, Anastasia, I, unlike you, have other stuff like training your pack than listening to screeching like a harpy. So, thank you for stopping complaining and getting in line with the others." Man, do I feel so good, and I can't wait to do more.

As the crowd started to murmur, Anastasia did the unthinkable in my clan, "I, Anastasia Lufoque, challenge you, Samantha Emilia Parker, to a duel. If I win, you will renounce everything you own to me." Well, we know it won't be fair for me without a prize for me to receive on my side. "Okay. I accept your challenge, but if I win, you will commit to a blood pact that states you will be forced to do my bidding till I see fit to release you. Do you accept my terms?"

Knowing Anastasia and her confidence, she will think she can best, so I know this will be a fun fight. "I accept." Like I guessed she was as I expected. With Aiden as our referee, we started. "This match will allow either form, but once you pick a form, you will be forced to stay that way until the second whistle and the third whistle will signify the end of the match."

As he blew the first whistle, I decided to stay in human form to not scare the Blue Rose Pack, and seeing this, Anastasia thought I was taking this lightly so she too decided to stay in human form. We circled each other, waiting for one to move. When Anastasia realized, I wasn't going to make the first move. She did. She went for a classic punch, which I dodged. Punch after punch, doing uppercuts and roundhouses. I either deflected it or dodged it. When I made my first move, it was a simple punch, but with the strength pack behind it, it sent her flying. When she got up and realized what was going on, she charged at me with full force. That's when the second whistle went off. She transformed into a big she-wolf.

While we continued to fit, me sustaining a few scratches, I decided that it was time to end this match. I grabbed her by the throat and slammed her into the ground. She continued to struggle and thrash against me, but she was no match. She submitted. The third whistle blew signifying the end of the match.

They were on the point of bringing Anastasia to the infirmary, but I stopped them. "Where is she going? We had a deal, if won she would become a contractee of mine. Bring her back this instant."

"Anastasia, there is no one to blame but yourself. Repeat after me, I, Anastasia Lufoque, am willingly entering a contract with Samantha Emilia Parker, stating that I will do her bidding until she decides to set me free."

Once she repeated those words, she drew some blood to seal the deal. After me not been the cruel soul I would've used on her, I told her to go and clean her wounds. Once all of that was done, I said the words that should have been stated a while ago.

"Well, let's start training."
