Prelude

Once in his life, he craves something he can't have. A power that only a few can own, those strong and sometimes evil can only possess. But there's an end to everything. There's a boundary to balance all the things, reality or even fantasy. He has royal blood and was born and raised in a wealthy and influential family. Hawthorne turned to the door as soon as it opened and Safiya entered with some of their men, their guns immediately focused on their unexpected visitor who was now busy drinking the blood as if he didn't care about what was happening around him.

Safiya directed her eyes on him, trying to hide her worries but she failed.

Hawthorne sighed disappointedly, he waved his hand, signaling them to leave. Safiya once more looked at their unexpected visitor then she glanced at him like she was making sure he was safe before she commanded their people to leave. They knew that guy but they didn't know that he was part of his past.

"Leave us," Hawthorne commanded the three women but as he expected, they did not comply.

"They're under my spell. How can you expect them to listen to you? You're not like me and you are not even a vampire." He grinned playfully. "A creature who drinks blood but isn't a vampire. I think that will pass as a riddle but only I know the answer."

"Command them to leave us,"

"Aren't you being so bossy?" He shook his head then turned to the three women. "Go on, ladies, get dressed, forget everything that happened here, and have a meaningful life."

The three women wasted no time and immediately got dressed then hurried out. When the door closed they were both serious.
