I was waiting for Xavier to come back inside the house after sending my parents off. His decision was bothering me. we decided to part our ways then why did he transferred his property on my name. It felt wrong and unacceptable. I also had to apologise for my father’s behaviour and make it clear that I have nothing to do with his planning and plotting.

His deep footsteps put a halt on my thoughts. I turned to face him. His eyes were already fixed on me.

“Xavier, I am sorry.” It came out as a mere whisper as emotions thickened my voice.

“May I know the reason of this apology because I see none.” He spoke.

“You know what I mean, Xavier and I am truly ashamed of his disgusting thoughts. I understand that he shared a deep connection with your mother and his resentment for your father is also fair but I don’t agree with him. Believe me, I will never help him in his cheap tricks to bring you and your family down.” I said in my defence.

He stepped closer.

“I know this as well, Ad
