It has been two days since David got out of the hospital after a week of staying there. He was in his office and signing the pending documents that needs his approval, when Johm knocked on his door.

Knock… knock… knock…

David turned his gaze to the door. “Come in,” he said before the door slowly opened widely.

“Sir, your car is ready,” John informed him, which made him nod.

John drove the car heading to their hideout, where George was waiting. After David was hospitalized, he hadn’t visited his Lion’s den to see the new prisoners, Lucas and Agatha. Honestly, he almost forgot about them as he was enjoying his days with Mariane and their son while he was in the hospital. Mariane did not mention the incident too. Maybe she’s afraid David will be filled with hatred and killed those who wronged them.

It was already midnight when they arrived at the hideout. The guards immediately greeted them as soon as they came out of the car.
