One year later,

Mariane’s wounds healed, and she could walk properly without anyone’s help. They went back to their everyday life. Their son, Jacob, is now a grade-one student at a prestigious school. Mariane started to build her new accounting firm with the help of David. And David is back to being a workaholic aside from special occasions and holidays.
