“Mariane, are you sure about this? Why don’t you let the police handle this matter, David?” Anastacia asked worriedly.

“Mom, we can’t let our son’s life on the line, here,” Mariane said.

“Mariane is right, Mrs. Ramos. They will hurt Jacob once we report this incident to the police.” David explained.
