Chapter 22 The Seer’s Story
Steven and Amelia’s expressions became somber. Was Emma the seer they wanted to find? That means that she must have had an encounter with the Scarlett Witch. What did she tell her? Why did she come to them on her own accord? Unanswered questions gripped both of them in tight clutches.
They entered the ward with serious bearing.
“Alphas, forgive my rudeness from before. I, Emma Thornton, pay my respects to the Leader Steven and Alpha Amelia of the Silver Crescent Pack.” Emma formally introduced herself and bowed politely to show her loyalty.
“Rise.” Steven accepted her greetings.
“I have something to give the Alphas.” Emma moved toward the siblings and with both hands, offered a crystal embedded hairpin.
Amelia accepted and examined it. It was indeed the authentic heirloom of the oldest Seer. As for why she could vouch for the authenticity, it was because this was the heirloom of Amelia’s late mother.
