Chapter 16 The Alpha’s Son

Steven turned around and as expected Amelia was there. In fact, she had already broken Steven’s estimated record of staying away from the attack. He was expecting her during the fiercest moments with an excuse of lending a helping hand. 

But she only appeared now and she wasn’t alone. She was dragging a naked unconscious man like a rag doll. The man’s skin was littered with claw marks and blood. But Amelia looked as clean and pure as a newborn flower.

Midnight Pack members soon identified the man. He was the missing son. As soon as she reached Steven, she looked at the man near Steven’s feet.

“Tsk. Like father, like son. Both of them are weak chickens. Brother you know, he couldn’t even take a few punches! He fainted right away! I didn’t even feel any joy.” Amelia complained as she wiped her hands clean.

An eery silence covered the area. The new pack members were too afraid to speak while the old pack members had nothing to speak at all.
