It was red, warm, and still beating. After a few seconds, it slowly lost its rhythm and warmth.
The new pack members had mixed feelings. They feared this ruthless attacker, but they also felt relieved. They were scared of her, but they admired her. The old pack members were numb. They had seen a lot of such incidences.
Silver Crescent Pack followed ethics and morals. Any heinous crime was dealt with equally gruesome punishment. And every good thing would be rewarded. They had long become civilized and barely witnessed any wrongdoings.
In their pack, nobody dared to break the rules. It was only the outer packs that were messy. Inside was just peace and harmony.
