CHAPTER 40

Sam rolled onto her back on the bed and watched as Damian put on a robe and tied it around his waist after a few hours. He sat back on the bed on her side and kissed her for a while then telling her to stay in bed.

“I’ll get some food for us from the kitchen. Give me fifteen to twenty minutes,” he informed, nibbling on her neck. “You don’t mind some leftovers, do you? Jacob ordered more than enough food from last night. And I’ll bring some wine.”

“It’s still morning for wine,” she commented.

Damian smiled down at her.

“We’re honeymooning, baby,” he responded as he traveled his hand between her legs again and smiled triumphantly when he felt the evidence of what he did. He laughed when she slapped his hand off. “Having wine in the morning is an excuse for us to indulge a little bit more than the usual. Besides, you seemed far more relax and free willing last night.”

Sam glared at him and he laughed, kissing the frown off her face.
