CHAPTER 41

Damian watched as Sam is ahead with her friends, browsing through the display of a street market late Friday morning while he walked beside Jacob and Andres. He watched thru his dark glasses as Sam carefully picked up a handmade bag, inspecting it while the seller is selling her the product.

“You know you could have extended another day,” Jacob commented with a chuckle as he looked at him. “You’ve been watching your wife like a vulture ever since the two of you stepped out from the car.”

Andres Grant, his other good friend, laughed in unison.

“Probably gave her a few hours to rest,” he pointed with mirth as he picked up a box of high-end cigars and asked the seller how much. “Knowing our friend here, he must have exhausted her for the past four days and nights.”

Jacob continued to laugh as he also decided to buy a box, handing his card for the payment.
