Chapter 19

"Aiden, is your brother usually like that?" Rain asked Aiden the moment she had already settled on the bedroom she's going to occupy for the night. As promised, Aiden helped her throughout the way up and get settled.

Aiden laughed meticulously somehow, and Rain's question amuses him. It was unexpected, and even the question itself is surreal. Or maybe he was used to his brother weirdness already that he didn't expect such a question to be asked.

"Apparently, no. He's not like this, Rain." he said first as he handed Rain a glass of water. "You must be feeling thirsty. Here, drink this." Rain accepted the water from him and wasn't hesitant to drink it. He was right. She's undeniably thirsty. She might have forgotten it, that's why she's not feeling it.
