I stared at him wondering if he was saying the truth, or just being dramatic.

“What do you mean danger?” I asked.

He pointed to the couch.

“Shall we?” He asked.

Frowning, I sat down on the couch crossing my legs and folding my arms.

“Because he was looking into her present. I asked him to dig into her background. I didn’t think your dad bothered to have her investigated but I felt it would be a good idea, judging from the guy she was with.”
