I stared at Dani.

“Second chance?” I asked.

“Yes. Sending your ex a bouquet of daisies means you want to get back with them.”

“I have never heard of that. How did you know?”

She laughed. “My mom is a florist. She owns a shop in the middle of town. I used to help out sometimes. I learnt all about the different meaning of flowers.”

“But it doesn’t have to be wanting a second chance right? Daisies can be sent for other reasons, can’t they?”

“Sure. But most times people send flowers that have a meaning.”

“I wonder which of my ex’s want to come back. Not that I am going to let it happen.” I smiled.

Dani shrugged. “Well I’m sure you will know soon enough.”

She returned to her desk and I placed the daisies near the roses, still wondering who it could be. Definitely not Tony. Maybe Evan?
