I left Janet standing in the carpark and marched into my office. My secretary tried to get my attention but I ignored her and slammed the door shut.

Janet’s innocent good girl act didn’t fool me. I I knew he had sent her those flowers but she had denied it and lied to my face. He even sent her perfume! Did the bitch think I wouldn’t find out? She was hoping Tony and I would split up so she could get back with him. The hell that was happening!

I paced my office felling like I was loosing my mind. Tony still refused to speak or have anything to do with me. I kept dreading the day I would get the divorce papers he had promised.

I sat behind my desk and burst into tears. What I had done was bad but his anger was excessive.

If he truly loved me he should be able to forgive me or at least hear me out. Instead he treated me as if I were the worst person in the world. We lived together but apart.
