I watched Anna go. I was shocked and hurt by her accusation.

Why would she think I was trying to get back with Tony? I had told her I respected their marriage, so what was her problem? And why was Tony sending me these gifts anyway? What was he up to? I was still upset as I entered the building. I thought about going to Anna’s office to try and explain to her that I had no interest in he husband, but what if she caused a scene? Dad would hate that. I changed my mind and went straight to my office. My phone rang as I entered. I frowned as caller ID told me it was Tony.
