Killian POV

It was late at night when our friends go home and now my wife and I are the only two left here downstairs because Kian had been sleep already with his nanny earlier, I hired someone to take care of my child so that Hailey would not have any more trouble when she recovers.

I looked at the time it was close to nine o'clock so I got up. "Baby let's go upstairs to rest. It's getting late." I said to Hailey and turned off the TV.

I just lifted her up and left the wheelchair there, her legs are okay but she still can't walk as well as before. When we entered the room, I laid her on the bed and covered her with a blanket.

"Sleep now so you can already rest. I know you are tired for this day." I said and kissed her on the cheek.

She immediately closed her eyes while I lay down next to her. I waited for her to fall asleep completely before closing my eyes as well.
