Hailey's POV

"Excuse me? Are you out of your mind? Are you asking me to marry you and in return, you will pay me? What do you think of me, a gold digger?" I hissed in disbelief.

"Don't you like my proposal? I'm a billionaire. All women are crawling just to be with me and then I offered you what they have died for. Don't tell me you are going to refuse it! Are you that narrow?" He laughed in a sarcastic way

Due to anger, my palm quickly landed on his cheek. Yes, I slap him! I don’t care if he is a famous billionaire. He has no right to speak to me like that.

He rubbed his cheek where I hit him. He looks quite shocked and didn't see it coming.

"Don't forget that you are working in my aunt's restaurant, woman! I'm the VIP here! You should respect me!" He screams at the top of his lungs and greeted his teeth.

"If you want someone's respect then give it to them first! If you don't want to be rude to others, don't be rude either."

I was stunned for a moment because of what he said. The news I have heard before that this man's tongue was really bad was all true.

Due to annoyance, I picked up the bowl quickly and followed him. He was about to get in his car when I threw the bowl in his direction.

I was shocked when he wasn't the one who was hit but it was his car window. My eyes almost dropped because of what happened a while ago. He was also in a trace of disbelief and after a second, his face darkened.

"What the fuck! You!" he shouted angrily while pointing at me

I almost swallowed my saliva out of fear.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." I apologize

He immediately came closer to me as fast as he can.

"And what are you thinking, huh? You'll just say sorry for breaking the window of my car and then what?"

"I-I'll pay it. Promise... I'll pay the damage I've caused." I promise quickly.

He burst out into a laugh. "Don't make me laugh woman! You'll pay? Do you know how much that cost? Bullshit!" His eyes glaze over with anger.

"I'll give you one week to pay for what you broke. Be sure to pay it on time woman or else... I will sue you!" he warned and picked up his phone as if he called someone.

I, on the other hand, seemed to be stuck in my position because I didn't know what to do. He gives me a week off! Where can I get money to pay him?

Later on, an expensive car arrived. The man in front of me turned to me and looked at me intently. "One week woman, one week!" he repeated as he walked into the car that had just arrived.

I almost lost my balance in my position as I watched Killian's car drive away.

I don't know where I can get the money to pay for his window car that I broke. I can't request advance payment where I work because I have money to allocate for that and I'm sure it won't be enough for me to pay for his car.
