“You're really improving with your cooking, Ma'am Helena,” I chuckled at what our chef said.

“It's because I have a great teacher, I guess?” I replied, making him laugh.

“You're not going to fire me, would you?” He asked for the hundredth time.

“I won't do that, even if I became one of the greatest chefs in the world. You've worked with my mom for almost ten years, Josh. That's why stop asking if I will fire you because my answer will always be the same: I won't, okay?” I chuckled while seasoning the chicken.

I remembered what happened last week. After I agreed to his proposal, I didn't know if I answered the right thing or not.
