Sofia's POV

It took us an hour before we could finally arrive at the hotel we were staying at. I even slept in the car, but Alex woke me up when we arrived.

“Let me carry your luggage, Helena,” he insisted, which made me glare at him.

“What?!” he stopped, asking for my reaction.

“That's the first time you've said those words, Alex,” I said, and he just shrugged his shoulders.

We went inside the hotel, and I was surprised that the others were already there. They were even looking at us while we were laughing together because of his silliness.

“I'm sorry we're late,” I added, seeing that they’d been waiting for too long. I looked at Marcus, and he seemed surprised, but I just gave him a broad smile. I wasn't even aware of the other guests' names, but what's important is that I'm with Alex.
