Chapter Fifty-Two: My mind is made up

Tamara’s POV:

Pain shot through every part of my body as I lay there, helpless on the cold, hard floor. Every breath felt like the last as I struggled to maintain consciousness, the bruises on my body aching with every struggle I made to prevent them from touching me. Isabella walked out of the room with a grin of excitement in her eyes as she made her way out. I begged with every strength left but she didn't spear me a glance. I never knew Isabella could be so mean.
