Chapter Twenty Five

Rosalie

“I must have misunderstood him. It's unlikely he said what I thought he said, right? Reconsider relocating?" I wondered, as I stared at him in disbelief.

"Rosalie?" He snapped his fingers in front of my face.

I blinked to refocus my gaze on him, picked up my wine glass and took a sip of it, though I resisted the urge to throw it in his gorgeous face. Setting the glass down rather gently, I tried to gather my thoughts but he interrupted me by speaking again.

"I hope you seriously think about it." He said. "I'm heading back to Aldovia next week, and I want all of you to join me."

"Hold on." I lifted a finger. "Let's say I'm not a fool, like you take me for and I understand what you're trying to say; you want me to uproot myself from here, along with my children and return to the country I ran away from?"
