Adrien

"Why did it take you so long to get back?" Rosalie inquired upon my return.

"I met a client, and we got carried away talking. Sorry," I lied, avoiding the mention of my encounter with her father and stepmother knowing it would upset her. I'll need to dissuade my father from inviting the Truscotts, but knowing him, they'd be at the top of his guest list.

"It's fine. Thank you." She accepted her drink and took a sip. "Hmm, what a breath of fresh air."

"Aren't they done yet?" I asked.

"They're not window shopping, Adrien. This is childbirth," She laughed. "It takes time. Some kids just like to take their time.”

"How many hours have passed now?"

"Six hours," She responded. “Tired already? You just got here.”

"I'm not tired. I'm just not used to waiting. Was yours even longer?" I inquired.

"I think... Four hours? I have no idea," She shrugged. "I was in a coma for almost a week. Kevin and Zara were the ones who took care of the kids."

"And your mom?" The pain lingers eve

Rosalie"Why do you look like someone whose cat just died?" Kevin asked. I shot him a nasty look and muttered, "I hate cats." "Dog, then," He said. "Did something happen?""Nothing happened," I shrugged."Did you have a fight with Adrien? You only ever look or talk like this when that happens," He stated. "What's the matter this time?""Don't let me burden you with my problems," I shook my head. "We can talk about it later.""Are you sure?" His brows furrowed in concern. "You're not... You're not regretting getting married to him, are you?"I should have anticipated Kevin's ability to identify the precise cause of my bad mood. Despite my attempts to conceal it, I thought I'd managed to hide it well after being granted the chance to see Zara and Sean. However, it must have been evident to them that all was not well with me."Well, yes," I nodded. "We jumped into this way too fast. We should have resolved all of our issues before getting married again," I stated. "The memories from th

Adrien The expression on her face didn't bode well for me at all, but really, what did I expect her to do? Was she supposed to jump for joy because I confessed to having harbored feelings for her a thousand years ago? I doubted any woman would be pleased to hear that. The words I uttered didn't sound pleasing even to my own ears. "Um... I'm a bit confused." She laughed shortly, rising to her feet and pacing. "Explain it to me so I can understand you better; you had feelings for me but you hated me?" "Don't misunderstand me, Rosalie." I said. "I didn't hate you because I had feelings for you. I would've told you about my feelings, but I didn't know how to approach you." "Just like you didn't know how to tell me you wanted me and you accused me of seducing you, right?" She snapped. "I was a jerk to you. You'd have laughed in my face if I'd told you about my feelings." I explained. "You'd have thought I was playing a prank on you." "Of course, I would have thought that!" She hissed.

Rosalie Announcing our arrival, the MC declared, "Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great honor and privilege that I introduce to you Mr and Mrs Vasanten, our bride and groom." As the words resonated through the room, all eyes turned in our direction, applauding our entrance. From my early years, I loathed being the center of attention, leading to infrequent invitations to my birthdays. The constant attendees were my mother, Adrien's parents, Adrien, and his brother Brandon. However, their presence felt obligatory, accompanied by glares that heightened my anxiety and fear during each celebration. Following my parents' divorce and my mother's departure from the neighborhood, it became a solitary celebration between the two of us on my birthdays. The shared history with Adrien that I once cherished despite his rude behavior towards me, took a turn as we grew older, and his attitude made me perceive him as nothing more than a heartless person. "Now, the bride and groom will have their

Yvette "How is it possible that they got married again?!" I screamed, tossing my purse and shoes aside and glaring at my parents as if it was their fault Adrien and Rosalie were married. "I'm amazed as well." Dad said. "When we saw him at the hospital, I noticed his wedding band..." "You saw him at the hospital?" I cut him off. "He's been back for a while now? Why didn't you tell me?" "We weren't aware that he even traveled anywhere." Mom said. "He wasn't very receptive towards us." "I can't believe that bitch stole my man for the second time." I seethed. I'd waited five years for Adrien to forgive me and take me back, but I didn't know my stepsister had a plan of her own. She'd thwarted my plan to get back with Adrien by getting married to him. "They looked happy together, didn't they?" Mom mused. "Unlike last time when he couldn't even stand her." "She probably blackmailed into marrying her." I muttered. "Adrien told me how much he hated her. He hated her with a lot of passi

Adrien Following the party, I was aware that there might be a chance Yvette would attempt to contact me, and her picture message seemed like a plea for reconciliation. The images of her in revealing lingerie stirred strong emotions in me - buried emotions that were forced to resurface, prompting me to swiftly delete the message and block her new number. Despite the temptation to confront her, I chose not to engage knowing it would encourage her to do something even worse. She was delusional if she believed that a single photo of her, even nude would have me running back to her. My goal was to earn my wife's forgiveness, persuade her to reconsider the intimacy restriction and give us a chance to be happy. Yet, I was prepared to wait indefinitely if that's what she desired, as she was truly worth the wait. The excited voices of my children coming from the pool area drew me in that direction, compelling me to discover what they were up to. I was in my office when I received Rosalie's

Rosalie A week later "Good morning, my lovely family." Adrien greeted us as he walked into the dining room. "Good morning, daddy." The kids returned his greeting with smiles. "Morning." I responded. During our initial marriage, encountering each other in the mornings was a rare occurrence. He would always leave before my awakening, and occasionally, Serena informed me of his absence the night before. Now, witnessing him wearing a joyful smile, adorned in a three-piece charcoal black tailored suit with a crisp white shirt, accompanied by a matching tie and dress shoes, brought happiness to me. The life I had envisioned for myself was finally realized – a husband who recognized and respected me as his wife, along with three affectionate children. Although it took us seven years to reach this point, it was worth the wait. "You look gorgeous as always, Rose." He walked around the table to give me a peck on my cheek. "Scrambled eggs, waffles, pancakes and bacon." He muttered.

AdrienIt felt good to be back to work but I was already missing my family and I wasn't even in my office yet. Norman and I rode the elevator from the underground parking lot and he was busy rattling off my schedule for the day while my mind was elsewhere - on my wife.I genuinely wished the morning vote would convince her to share my bedroom, so I could wake up to her every day and gaze at her face before bedtime after a long day at work. Despite the likely repercussions for the morning stunt, it would be worth every moment—even if she playfully reprimands me first."Sir, are you even listening to me?" Norman's voice jolted me out of my thoughts."Hmm, yes." I nodded."What was the last thing I said?" He inquired."I have to travel to Dubai in two days to commission the new hotel we just built." I replied. "Are you satisfied?""Is there trouble in paradise?" He teased me. "Did something happen with Ms McPherson?""Just because I was lost in thought doesn't mean something happened." I

RosalieYvette's attempt to entangle my husband once more with her manipulative tactics was something I should have anticipated. She likely counted on Adrien's lingering animosity towards me from years ago, believing it would play to her advantage. However, she was unaware that we had moved beyond those issues. I married him on my terms, and he understood that I held the authority to conclude our marriage this time, and he was willing to comply with my decisions.Unlike the previous marriage, which was prompted by my mother's illness, that wasn't the case this time. If I choose to divorce Adrien, I have nothing to lose, and he might be the one pleading for me to stay. What a delightful twist of fate this has become—a true irony."Rose, honey, it's not what you think." Adrien assured me."And what do you think I'm thinking about?" I inquired, curious. "We'd only have a problem if you were doing more than talking to her before we arrived. You were just catching up on old times, right?"

Rosalie A week later Upon opening my eyes, I was surprised to find myself in a hospital room. The last memory I had was standing before the fridge with the door open, ready to grab the freshly squeezed orange juice I'd made earlier. Suddenly, a screeching sound inside my head made me clutch it, and the events that followed were a mystery. "Baby?" Adrien's anxious voice made me turn towards him. His hair was tousled, evidence of him running his fingers through it, and he appeared as if he had aged ten years since this morning when I last saw him. "What am I doing here?" I inquired, attempting to prop myself up using my elbows, but he insisted I rest. "You need to rest," He urged. "I found you unconscious in the kitchen, panicked, and brought you to the hospital. The doctor explained it as fainting due to stress." "I'm fine," I reassured him. I studied his face in silence, making him uneasy, yet he didn't avert his gaze as I expected. "What?" He grumbled, arching a delicate eyebr

Rosalie Wet heat flooded my core the moment I felt his soft, warm, silken lips touch mine. Adrien's desire for me permeated the air, his passion evident as he consumed my mouth as if it were the sole sustenance necessary for his survival. As my hands delved into his hair, I opened myself up to him, sensing that all the elusive fragments of my life had finally aligned. There was an unexplainable sense of déjà vu in this room, in this country, as if we had traveled this path before. Months ago, when he casually inquired about our honeymoon destination, I mentioned France without surprising him. It felt like he already knew my choice, and now, in this moment, I realize I never pondered on it until now. Despite never having visited France, its familiarity eludes me, leaving me unable to pinpoint the source of its recognition. I gasped as his mouth came down to my breast and he bit lightly on my hardened nipple. I sucked in another breath as he soothed it with his tongue and teased the

She appeared stunning in the white halter neck dress she wore, complemented by the platinum teardrop earrings I had gifted her.The first time we got married, I hadn't proposed, and the second time, despite my sincere words, she took them skeptically. Now, I'm confident that every word I express in front of this crowd will be wholeheartedly embraced by her, as we embark on this third and final marriage rooted in genuine love. I couldn't be happier.Feeling a sense of commitment, I couldn't leave what I'd begun unfinished. Her gaze, as if I were her entire world, fueled my determination and fostering hope that she would agree. Rosalie A month later Today, November fifth, the day I gave birth to my children, would have been special if I could remember anything. Unfortunately, I don't recall anything about it. Ronald had planned a big party for our children, who were turning six years old. All their schoolmates, along with some kids from the charity foundation co-founded by Adrien and his father, were invited. With more kids than adults, one can easily imagine how loud the party would become. Children were running and screaming with excitement everywhere I turned. Adrien's backyard had been turned into a mini amusement park for their entertainment, and they appeared to be enjoying themselves to the fullest. Initially, I was unfamiliar with Alissa Dawson, but Adrien informed me that he'd invited her and her kids to celebrate with us. Notably, she had triplets also celebrating their birthday today, so I thought it was fitting. Later, Kevin revealed that Alissa, a police officer in Cardenia and one of my fr

Adrien Rosalie and I initially began as friends with benefits, but over the following months, our connection transformed into a deeper bond, leading us to start dating. Despite the initial strangeness of seeing her as my girlfriend after years of being my wife, I was grateful for the second chance she gave me to make amends for my past actions. A few weeks into our relationship, I validated my dad's suspicions, confirming it both in a personal conversation and during an interview with Urban Pulse. Despite the unfavorable reception from many, we remained indifferent, knowing that people were uninformed about our situation. I even issued warnings of legal action against anyone spreading slander about Rosalie, which effectively put an end to the online hate speeches. Rosalie became the assistant to the head of the PR department in my company, which significantly eased our relationship. However, the only drawback was the frequent and extended business trips I had to undertake. At tim

Rosalie "You're smiling an awful lot." Kevin observed, narrowing his eyes at me. "Did something happen with Adrien Vasanten?" "Like what?" I feigned ignorance. "I don't know, you tell me." He chuckled. "You have this dazed look in your eyes like you can't believe how awesome he is. Let me tell you that women only look at men like that after an amazing time in bed with them." He stated. "And you know this because it's the same way Zara looks at you?" I joked, chuckling. "Maybe." He muttered. "Don't change the subject. Tell me something new; are you back together with your ex?" "I don't know." I sighed deeply. "I asked him for forgiveness, he told me there was nothing to forgive because it's what one does when you're in love with someone; his words, not mine." I remarked. "He told me he loves me, I kissed him and one thing led to another." My cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "You initiated the kiss?" Kevin looked shocked. "It was done on Impulse. I did it before I realized what

Adrien Despite knowing it was entirely wrong, I couldn't resist kissing her, and against my better judgment, I wrapped one arm around her waist, lifted her off her chair, and let her straddle my lap. I ripped my mouth from hers, my breath coming in heavy pants. She was just as breathless as she let her head fall back, giving me access to the sensitive skin at her neck as I explored it with my tongue. "Rose, we can't do this." I whispered in her ear as I nibbled at her earlobe, making her giggle. "Why not?" She asked. "I want this and you obviously do too." She let her hand trail down my chest seductively, past my belt buckle and let her fingers brush the front of my pants, making me jerk in surprise. "That is saying otherwise." "You were almost..." I paused, gritting my teeth. "I don't think it's wise." I stated. She drew nearer to me, pressing against me, her chest meeting mine. It dawned on me that she wasn't wearing a bra, and I silently groaned, pondering if she was aware of

Rosalie I was ashamed of myself for behaving like a fool. I was equally ashamed to face my ex-husband, unable to meet his judgmental gaze or endure his triumphant smile saying 'I told you so.' The signs were there last week when Adam treated me curtly and practically threw the documents I had reviewed for him in my face; I should have realized what was going on then. Initially, I believed he was just having a bad day, and his apology at the end of that day reinforced that notion. The following day, our lunch together seemed to erase the events of the previous day. He treated me fairly until today. Yesterday, after he dropped me home, he asked for assistance with a Monday presentation at the hotel, and I agreed. If only I had known it would unravel like this, I would have distanced myself from him. "I left a document in my bedroom. Can you please get it for me?" He asked. "I think it's on my nightstand." "Yes, sir," I said with a smile as I stood up and headed to his bedroom to r

Adrien "Where did you go this early?" Dad questioned as I walked into the house. "The kids were asking for you." "I went to see Rosalie." I mumbled. "Why?" Dad arched a brow. "I went to talk to her about her boss but she refused to believe me. She called me a liar, a manipulator and practically told me that if she were a magician, I would be the only person she'd erase from existence." I responded. Reflecting on our conversation, her words stung more than the slap, and I doubted I'd ever be able to erase them from my memory. It marked the instance when I felt Rosalie's unbridled hatred directed squarely at me. "She said that?" Dad was shocked. "And more." I said. "All I know is, I'm done." I dusted my hands. "I know you love her and you want her to be in this family, but I don't think I can do this. She's happier away from me and I don't want this version of her." "She probably didn't mean anything she said." Dad said in her defense. "She said and I quote; "I curse the day I
