Chapter 216: Talk

Margaux became unstable after hearing that. She was speechless and her mind was blown at how smooth his words were coming out from his mouth. She used to follow him and pestered him before the accident happened. That's why she knew that he was the type of person who never jokes around. She even thought he didn’t know how to smile because she always saw him looking serious as if his life was just black and gray back then. And instead of knowing him better after marrying him, he just drifted further from her until she came to the point that they went back from being just strangers.

“Cancel the wedding with that guy..” Hendrix suddenly whispered.

He was now resting his chin on her shoulder while his arms were still wrapped tightly around her waist. She must have been too preoccupied that she did not notice his action.

Frowning, she lowered her head and looked at his arms. Unconsciously, her hands went on top of his arms as she spoke.

“Why do you want me to cancel the wedding?” she
